Enum MemoryAllocationMode

Source
pub enum MemoryAllocationMode {
    Host,
    Vtl2 {
        memory_size: Option<u64>,
        mmio_size: Option<u64>,
    },
}
Expand description

The memory allocation mode provided by the host. This determines how OpenHCL will allocate memory for itself from the partition memory map.

Variants§

§

Host

Use the host provided memory topology, and use VTL2_PROTECTABLE entries as VTL2 ram. This is the default if no openhcl/memory-allocation-property mode is provided by the host.

§

Vtl2

Allow VTL2 to select its own ranges from the address space to use for memory, with a size provided by the host.

Fields

§memory_size: Option<u64>

The number of bytes VTL2 should allocate for memory for itself. Encoded as openhcl/memory-size in device tree.

§mmio_size: Option<u64>

The number of bytes VTL2 should allocate for mmio for itself. Encoded as openhcl/mmio-size in device tree.
